Philly Soul Man Ashley Scott Remixes Hit Single, “Dance the Night Away” For the Dance Floo

Available on June 5th, 2020 via digital music platforms worldwide, R&B singer/songwriter Ashley Scott’s single. “Dance the Night Away” – already a hit in the UK – now has a remix version ready for club play.

Released on Ashley’s Soulful Sounds International Records, “Dance the Night Away – The Remix” – a collaboration producer Fred David Kenney Jr. – is a soulful house release that contains both a radio-edit for stations as well as an extended mix for DJ’s. Mr. Kenney’s resume includes producing artists such as Kindred the Family Soul and Jazmine Sullivan.

The original version of the tune hit the Top 10 on the UK Soul Chart and remained there for four consecutive weeks. That single also made the Top 10 on R&B stations in Granada as well.  Thanks to the success of the first version, Mr. Scott says the remix is already giving the tune new life among those within that circle and plans on bringing that same level of excitement back home to the states. “After hearing an advance release of ‘Dance the Night Away – The Remix’ has received great reviews by many radio presenters in the United Kingdom,” says Ashley. “Our goal now is to generate the same enthusiasm here in the USA and other countries. With the trials and challenges we’re facing – folks need music to uplift and bring some joy. That is what this remix will do.”

Born and raised in The City of Brotherly Love, Ashley Scott comes from a music dynasty. His aunt, Helen Scott, was a founding member of the hit making trio, the Three Degrees (of “When Will I See You Again” fame). A longtime session singer, Ashley worked with Take 6, Vivian Green and Will Downing. After serving eight years as a governor and one year as vice president in the Philadelphia chapter of the National Academy of Recording Artists and Sciences (a/k/a the Grammys), Ashley launched the Soulful Sounds International label with the goal of making timeless music for today and the future.
